Privacy notice

This notice explains what happens to your information when you visit hspingal.com ("we", "us"). The short version: the site is static, it has no forms, no accounts, no analytics and no advertising, and we do not run a database.

1. What this site is

hspingal.com is a static website. Every page is a fixed file served from Cloudflare's network. The site has no login, no sign-up, no contact form and no comment system, and it does not keep a database or store information about you. Two small Cloudflare Worker endpoints exist only to support two tools (see section 5).

2. What the site does not do

• It does not set cookies of its own.
• It does not use analytics, tracking pixels or advertising scripts.
• It does not load web fonts, scripts or images from third-party servers. Fonts are those already installed on your device.
• It does not collect, profile or sell personal data.

3. Hosting and server logs

The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which acts as our hosting and network provider. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information about each request in order to deliver the page and protect the network from abuse, for example your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user-agent. We do not use this information to identify you. Cloudflare's handling of this data is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

4. Emailing us

Every contact link on this site is a plain mailto: link. Clicking it opens your own email program with a new message addressed to admin@hspingal.com; nothing is sent until you send it from your email program. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we use it only to reply to you. We do not share correspondence with third parties and we do not add you to a mailing list. Ask us at any time and we will delete your messages.

5. The tools

The tools published on this site run in your browser. Files, text and other data you give them are processed on your device and are not uploaded to us. The tool pages load their code from this site rather than from third-party servers. A few tools need to contact other services to do their job, which you should know about:

• Local IP Finder asks this site (/api/ip, a small Cloudflare Worker) for your public IP address, network provider and approximate location. The Worker reads those details from the request itself and sends them straight back to you; we do not store them. Your local network address is detected inside your browser.
• ShareChat connects devices directly to each other (peer-to-peer). To set up a connection, the devices exchange short setup messages through a signalling service on this site (a Cloudflare Worker with a Durable Object). It relays those messages, which contain a temporary room identifier and network addresses, and does not store them or see your messages or files. Cloudflare's public STUN server (stun.cloudflare.com) also sees your IP address while devices work out how to reach each other. Messages and files travel between the devices themselves. ShareChat can also list other ShareChat users on the same network: devices that reach this site from the same public IP address appear to each other under a name (a random one like “Swift Fox” unless you choose your own, remembered in your browser's local storage on your device) and a device type, and only while the ShareChat start page is open. Your IP address is used just to group those devices and is not stored; names are held in memory only. Nobody can send you anything without you accepting an invite. ShareChat also keeps its data in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB) on your device, and can ask permission to show notifications.
• Laptop Tester asks your browser for permission to use your camera and microphone. The streams stay on your device and are not recorded or sent anywhere.

Some tools may save settings or working data in your browser's storage on your own device. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

6. External links

This site links to other websites, such as LinkedIn. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

7. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your rights

Because we hold no personal data beyond any email correspondence, there is usually nothing to access, correct or delete. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, or you have any question about your data, write to admin@hspingal.com.

If this notice changes, we will update the date at the top of the page.
